Vitamin K controls blood clotting & bone health. It also prevents heart disease by reducing natural damage. Vitamin K is thought to reduce postoperative bruising.  Vitamin k also neutralises Free Radicals.

 

Vitamin K also known as Phylloquinone is now classed as Vitamin K1 as we learn more about K2 & K3.

 

Am I deficient? Do you suffer nosebleeds or bruise easily? Are you anaemic? Speak to your doctor and ask them about your levels. Haemorrhage is an acute sign of Vitamin K deficiency.
